Ceramide Complex x5
The same complex used in Clean Slate. All five ceramide types, delivered together, sourced from Italy. Laminaria Digitata Extract alongside Ceramide 1, 2, 3, 4 and 6 II. In a moisturiser, this is the layer that holds everything underneath it in place.
Ectoin
Originally studied in organisms that survive extreme dehydration and heat. In skincare, it helps skin hold onto moisture and recover from environmental stress, heat, pollution, screen exposure, more efficiently than a standard humectant on its own.
Hyaluronic Acid
Holds up to a thousand times its weight in water, the standard against which every other hydrating ingredient gets measured. It works alongside Ectoin to cover both immediate hydration and longer term resilience.
Niacinamide
The same active used across the rest of the system, continuing its barrier and tone work in this leave on layer. It's part of why this formula works at every step of the routine, not just one.

Almost. There is 0.01% fragrance, included only to mask an unpleasant raw material note, not to add scent. You are not meant to notice it. If you have a diagnosed fragrance allergy, patch test first.
For most skin, yes. Ceramide Complex, Hyaluronic Acid and Ectoin work at different layers to hold moisture in. If your skin is very dry, layer it over a hydrating serum rather than expecting a single rich cream feel.
